The East Kildonan Lions Club was originally chartered on September 10, 1953 with 20 charter members.
Over the course of the past 53+ years we have seen many changes, and had the opportunity to meet and work with a number of great men and women.
Presently we have a membership of 26 people, 8 of which are Life Time Members. We also have 4 active members who are Melvin Jones Fellows.
We have helped to start 4 new clubs within the city of Winnipeg and 1 in surrounding communities. Each of these clubs provides it’s members with the ongoing fund-raisers providing much needed assistance to those less fortunate.
Through working together we have maintained a strong club, and we’re only getting stronger!
